Simple Chocolate Fondant

by Editorial Staff

Chocolate fondant is very, very simple to prepare. The quality of the chocolate is important in this recipe because the taste of the finished dessert depends on it.

Cook: 20 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Black chocolate – 100 g
  • Butter – 100 g + for lubrication
  • Brown sugar – 150 g
  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Wheat flour – 50 g
  • Cocoa powder – 10 g + for sprinkling
  • Powdered sugar – 5 g

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate with butter in a water bath and mix thoroughly.
  2. Grease baking dishes with butter and dust liberally with cocoa powder.
  3. Beat eggs and brown sugar in a bowl, add vanilla sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of salt, stir.
  4. Then, stirring constantly, pour in the prepared chocolate in a thin stream.
  5. Add flour and stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the mass into prepared baking dishes and send to an oven preheated to 180 ° C.
  7. Bake at 180 ° C for 12-14 minutes. You can determine the readiness of the chocolate “lava” by the baked top. As soon as the top is baked, you need to get it out of the oven.
  8. Using a knife, carefully separate the dessert from the edge of the mold and turn it over into a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, a scoop of ice cream, fresh berries, or fruit.
  9. The chocolate fondant is served hot. When you break the dessert, hot chocolate “lava” will flow out.

Bon Appetit!
