Ingredients

  • 450 g turkey breast or chicken breast or pork schnitzel
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 300 ml white wine, alternatively water
  • 200 ml milk
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 200 g herbal cream cheese
  • 1 small onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • olive oil
  • pepper
  • salt
  • lots rosemary, preferably fresher
  • 1 tablespoon chicken stock powder

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces. Cut the mushrooms into small slices. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Dissolve the cornstarch in the milk.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan and then fry the meat in it. Add onion, garlic and mushrooms and fry briefly. Deglaze with the white wine or water, stir in the milk and cornstarch mixture and bring to the boil. Add the cream cheese and season with salt, pepper, chicken stock powder and rosemary and simmer a little.
  3. It goes best with potato noodles or homemade spaetzle.
