Ingredients

  • 500 g pork schnitzel
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 green pepper (s)
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika powder, noble sweet
  • liter ⅛ sweet cream
  • liter ⅛ broth
  • Ground pepper
  • salt
  • 2 onion (s), cut into rings

Instructions

  1. Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into thin strips (approx. 1/2 cm thick). Mix the flour with a little salt and pepper and turn the meat in it. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Stem, core, wash and cut the two peppers.
  2. Fry the sliced pork vigorously on all sides in hot oil over medium heat. Add onion rings and paprika strips and sauté. Scatter paprika powder over it and stir briefly. Add the sweet cream and the broth. Mix together and cover and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve the strips with rice, pasta or hash browns.
  4. Note: The sliced meat can of course also be prepared with other meat, e.g. turkey - this is easier to digest and it reduces the cooking time.
