  • 75 g suar, brown

  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ gingerbread spice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 70 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Stir in eggs. Mix the flour, baking powder and spices and stir into the batter. Finally, mix in the orange peel, milk and maple syrup. Put the dough in a greased Guglhupf pan (15 cm) and bake for 25 minutes at 160 ° C fan oven. Use a stick test to check whether the cake is ready.
  2. Melt the couverture in a water bath. Douse the Guglhupf with it and decorate with sugar pearls.
