Ingredients

For the ground:

  • 1 large egg (s)
  • 60 g suar
  • 50 ml oil
  • 50 ml egg liqueur
  • 75 g flour

  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder

  • 500 g strawberries

  • 1 pack cake topping
  • 3 tablespoon, leveled sugar

Instructions

  1. For the cake base, beat the egg with sugar until very frothy. Then stir in the oil and egg liqueur. Finally, sieve the baking powder into the flour and stir into the liquid batter. Pour the batter into a rectangular springform pan for king cake.
  2. Bake in a hot oven at 165 ° C for 20 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the packet, but only with 400 ml of milk. Then clean the strawberries and cut them for the cake (depending on the size).
  4. Let the finished cake base cool briefly in the springform pan, then spread the pudding on top. Then distribute the strawberries neatly on top and fill in all the gaps with strawberry pieces.
  5. Now prepare the icing according to the instructions on the packet and pour over the strawberries. Just let it cool down and serve.
  6. Tip: Of course, this cake also tastes great with many other fruits or canned fruit. And for a normal springform pan, just double all of the ingredients except for the vanilla pudding. Simply prepare this with the usual 500 ml milk.
