Ingredients
For the basics:
Minced meat – 800 g
Bulb onions – 1-2 pcs.
Chopped parsley (or dill) – 2-3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper – to taste
For filling:
Potatoes – 4-6 pcs.
Mushrooms (champignons) – 300 g
Hard cheese – 150 g
Salt to taste
Vegetable oil – for frying
For decoration:
Cherry tomatoes – 2-4 pcs.
Processed cheese, slices for sandwiches – 1-2 pcs.
Let’s start with the meat base. The products are the simplest. Finely chop the onion (the smaller the better) and send it to the mince. Add finely chopped parsley (or dill), salt, black pepper to the minced meat.
Mix the minced meat well and put it in a split baking dish, the dia of my form is 26 cm. (It is better to grease the form with butter.) Distribute the minced meat evenly in the form, forming the base of the “cake”. We try to keep the bottom and sides of the meat base the same thickness.
Now let’s prepare the filling of the snack, or rather the snack cake. By the way, next time you can experiment with the filling.
Cut the champignons into large slices. Fry the mushrooms in a pan in a small amount of heated oil over high heat, our task is to evaporate excess moisture from the mushrooms. Cut the potatoes into thin slices.
We send the potatoes to boiling salted water and cook for a couple of minutes. We immediately remove the potatoes from the water (using a slotted spoon), while draining the water well – the potatoes must be dry.
Combine fried mushrooms with potatoes. Add salt (taking into account how salty the cheese is) and mix well.
Put the potatoes with mushrooms on the meat base and sprinkle with cheese grated on a coarse grater on top.
We send minced meat with potatoes and mushrooms to a preheated oven. We bake at a temperature of 200 degrees. Our oven did it in 40 minutes. For the first 20 minutes, the casserole with minced meat, potatoes, mushrooms, and cheese was cooked under foil so that the cheese did not burn.
We take out the snack cake with meat, potatoes, and mushrooms from the mold and decorate. For decoration, take parsley, cherry tomatoes, and processed cheese slices. (You can decorate this dish as you like!) Make a net of mayonnaise. Cut out flowers from tomatoes, from cheese – bases for flowers. Put cheese, tomatoes, and herbs on top of the cake. It turned out very tasty! And most importantly, the recipe is not complicated, although repeat it every week! This snack cake is good both hot and cold – checked!
