Snack Muffins with Cheese and Ham

Who said muffins are necessarily sweet baked goods? Today I want to show you some delicious snack muffins that satisfy hunger perfectly. Muffins with cheese and ham are perfect for breakfast, you can take them with you, for a snack or outdoors.

Ingredients
- Hard cheese – 100 g
- Ham – 80 g
- Milk – 200 ml
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Butter – 20 g
- Wheat flour – 250 g
- Baking powder – 2 teaspoon
- Sugar – 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Dried dill – 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper – to taste
Directions
- Prepare all the ingredients you need to make the cheese and ham muffins. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Melt butter. This can be done on the stove top or in the microwave.
- Combine melted butter with eggs and milk. Stir until smooth.
- Combine flour, salt, sugar and baking powder and sieve through a sieve.
- Add dry to liquid mixture and stir. The consistency of the dough should be like thick sour cream.
- Cut 80 g of cheese into small cubes. Grate the remaining cheese on a coarse grater.
- Cut the ham into medium-sized cubes and add to the dough.
- Add diced cheese, dried dill and black pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly.
- Peel the garlic, chop, add to the dough and stir.
- Place the paper molds in the muffin mold and fill them 2/3 full with dough.
- Place the pan in the hot oven and bake the ham and cheese muffins for 25 minutes.
- Remove the muffins from the oven and sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
- Place the muffins back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, until a cheese crust forms.
