Ingredients

  • 8 egg whites
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 700 ml milk
  • 0.5 ½ vanilla pod (s)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 0.5 ½ vanilla pod (s)
  • 10 g custard powder, vanilla flavor
  • 2 piece (s) egg yolks

Instructions

  1. For the dumplings, whip egg white with granulated sugar to form firm snow. Bring the milk with the vanilla pulp and vanilla sugar to the boil. Form dumplings out of the snow mass with two tablespoons and place in the boiling milk and leave for 2 minutes. Turn over and let steep for another 2 minutes on reduced heat. Arrange on top of the vanilla sauce.
  2. For the sauce, mix the vanilla pudding powder with 3 tablespoons of milk and the egg yolks. Bring the rest of the milk, sugar and vanilla pod to the boil. Take out the pod, strip off the pulp and add. Mix the pudding mixture into the sauce while stirring vigorously and stir cold.
