Instructions

  1. Peel the apple and rhubarb and cut into small pieces. The smaller, the faster they are soft-boiled or the more mushy the compote becomes. Apple and rhubarb with xucker - or any other sweetener, but the possible taste of its own, e.g. Consider, for example, honey or maple syrup - bring the ground vanilla pod and some water or juice to the boil. Simmer over low heat until the desired consistency is achieved. If necessary, add more liquid so that nothing burns.
  2. Mix the compote with the grainy cream cheese and enjoy lukewarm.
  3. The Soul Comforter is well filled with the high protein content of the cream cheese, satisfies the hunger for sweetness with the compote and warms not only the stomach but also the soul from the inside.
  4. Tips: Instead of vanilla, you can also use cinnamon, ground cloves or bitter almond flavor. Of course, the compote can also be made from other fruits and combined with the cream cheese. I especially like the combination of sweet and sour and the fresh and cool cream cheese. Consider the different degrees of sweetness of other types of fruit.
