Instructions

  1. For the dough, cut up the chocolate and melt it together with the butter in a double boiler. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until foamy, stir in the melted chocolate and butter mixture and the flour. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in. Pour the dough into a loaf tin (30 cm) lined with baking paper.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 170 ° C, gas: level 3) for about 50 minutes (it is always difficult to tell whether the cake is done because it is already chocolate black - me always do the toothpick test).
  3. Cool overnight in the pan and let rest.
  4. To garnish, melt the chocolate and fat in a double boiler. Cut the cake into 16 pieces, arrange on plates and decorate with the melted chocolate-fat mixture. The whipped cream is enough.
