Instructions

  1. Prepare the spaetzle according to the instructions.
  2. Chop the onions and fry them in a little oil. If you don`t want the casserole to be vegetarian, cut the ham into strips and roast them. Put the spaetzle in the Ultra Plus or the soaked Römertopf, fold in the roasted onions and ham. Season the cream with salt and pepper, add half of the cheese and mix this with the spaetzle. Cover with the rest of the cheese and bake open for approx. 30 minutes at 160 °.
  3. We also eat tomato salad or Chinese cabbage salad. The dish can also be warmed up very well, simply cover it with fresh semi-hard cheese and put it back in the oven!

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
