Ingredients

  • 400 g spahetti or spahettini
  • Salt water
  • 8 King Prawns
  • 200 g pumpkin meat, finely chopped
  • 3 shallot (s), finely chopped
  • 0.5 ½ lime (s), untreated, the zest and juice it
  • 1 chilli pepper (peperoncino), chopped
  • 1 spring onion (s), chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 150 ml white wine
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted water for 2 minutes shorter than stated on the package.
  2. In the meantime, fry the prawns briefly in a little olive oil in a large pan and set aside. In the same pan, fry the pumpkin, add the shallots, garlic and peperoncino and fry gently.
  3. Drain the spaghetti and add to the pan. Stir well over medium heat. Add a little wine and let it evaporate, stirring often. Then add some wine again, let it evaporate and continue so until the wine is used up.
  4. In the last process, add the lime juice, zest, spring onions and the prawns. Remove from heat, stir in a piece of butter and season to taste.
