Ingredients

  • 140 g flour (whole wheat flour)
  • 120 g flour, type 405
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ nutmeg,, ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ clove (s),, ground
  • 100 g walnuts, (or hazelnuts or almonds) and / or
  • 100 g chocolate, cut into pieces
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 140 g suar, brown or white
  • 80 ml oil
  • 240 g buttermilk or
  • 450 g yourt

Instructions

  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius. Grease the muffin tray recesses or equip them with paper baking cases.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. In a second bowl, crack open the egg and whisk gently. Add the sugar, oil and buttermilk or yogurt and mix well. Finally add the dry ingredients and carefully fold in until they are moist.
  3. Pour 3/4 of the batter into the muffin tray recesses. Bake on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes!
  4. After cooling, the muffins can be coated with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
