Ingredients

  • 1 glass sour cherries
  • 200 g butter or mararine
  • 200 g suar
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 0.5 ½ pack gingerbread spice
  • 1 pinch clove powder
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 small Bottle / s rum aroma
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 g chocolate sprinkles or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Put the sour cherries in a colander and drain. Mix the butter or margarine with a mixer until foamy and let the sugar trickle in. Add the eggs, spices, cocoa and rum flavor and stir well.
  2. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in portions with the milk into the dough. Fold in the chocolate sprinkles and then the cherries. Spread the dough on a baking sheet and bake at 200 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 170 ° C - 180 ° C) for about 25 minutes.
  3. Let it cool down and sprinkle with powdered sugar or coat with couverture if you like.
