Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 6 tablespoon oil, (sunflower oil)
  • 3 large apples
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled spice mixture, (mixed spice, alternatively gingerbread spice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (O / U heat).
  2. Peel the apples, remove the core and dice (slightly larger than about half a sugar cube).
  3. Beat sugar and eggs until creamy, mix flour and baking powder, sieve and stir well.
  4. Mix in the quark and oil, then stir in the spices.
  5. Fold in the apple cubes.
  6. With the help of two tablespoons, place the tangerine-sized heaps on a baking tray lined with baking paper (leave a gap of about 4 cm) and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
