Instructions

  1. First, the rice is washed under running water until the water remains clear. Then it is soaked for about an hour. Then drain in the sieve.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the fat and fry the spices over medium heat. After a few minutes add the drained rice. Stir again and again and be careful that nothing burns.
  3. In the meantime, bring the water to a boil and pour it over the rice while boiling. Quickly cover the pot and reduce the heat to the lowest level. Simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes, under no circumstances open the lid! Before serving, you can fish out the cloves and cardamom pods that it washed up during cooking.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
