Spicy Muffins with Cheese

These muffins can be served as an appetizer or savory pastry for tea.

Ingredients

  • Coarse flour – 230 g
  • Fine flour – 50 g
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
  • Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Mustard powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Spicy cheese (grated) – 50 g
  • Spicy cheese (diced) – 50 g
  • Vegetable oil – 6 tbsp
  • Natural yogurt without additives – 150 g
  • Milk – 130 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Worcestershire sauce – 1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, combine both flours, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and mustard powder. In another bowl, combine vegetable oil, cheese, yogurt, milk, egg, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Pour the liquid mixture into a bowl with the dry mixture and knead to a homogeneous dough. Place the dough in muffin tins and place in the preheated oven.
  4. Bake muffins for 20-25 minutes, until a clean wooden stick (the product needs to be pierced with a wooden stick like a toothpick, if the muffins are ready, then the stick will be clean, and if raw, then dough will remain on the stick, in this case you need to leave the products in the oven for another minutes 5). Remove the finished muffins from the molds and cool on the wire rack.
