Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry, frozen
  • 1 packet creamed spinach, frozen
  • 60 g parmesan cheese
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 5 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1 cottage cheese or cream cheese
  • salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ nutmeg
  • 1 egg yolk

Instructions

  1. Press the defrosted puff pastry into a quiche dish - keep some of the batter. Squeeze out the thawed creamed spinach until it is as dry as possible. Make a filling from the spinach and the other ingredients in the food processor or with a hand mixer and place on the base.
  2. Roll out the remaining dough, cut thin strips and place them in a diamond pattern on the spinach filling. Press the ends of the strips firmly against the edge of the quiche. Brush the diamond pattern and the edge of the pastry with egg yolk. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes at 180-200 degrees.
  3. A tomato salad, for example, goes well with it. The quiche tastes very good both fresh out of the oven and cold as part of a buffet.
