Ingredients

  • 100 g butter or 20 butter and 80 low-fat quark

  • 2 clove (s) garlic, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 125 g quark
  • 75 g crème fraîche
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 75 g sheep cheese

Instructions

  1. For the base, knead a shortcrust pastry from the first 6 ingredients and chill for 30 minutes. Put in a greased dish, form an edge.
  2. Sweat the diced onions and garlic in the oil, add the spinach and season with the spices. Add the remaining ingredients and mix everything well. Pour the mixture on the dough. Bake the quiche in a preheated oven at 180 ° C (top / bottom heat) for about 30 minutes.
  3. Tip: The quiche batter is ideal for any type of savory cake. If you want to save calories, you can replace some of the butter with low-fat quark (it also works very well with 20 g butter and 80 g low-fat quark).
  4. If you want, you can also use creamed spinach, then simply omit the creme fraîche.
