Sprat Salad with Croutons

Sprat salad with croutons, cheese, cucumbers and corn is a great alternative to classic sprat sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • Sprats – 150 g
  • White bread croutons – 50 g
  • Fresh cucumber – 100 g
  • Canned corn – 150 g
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Mayonnaise – 50 g
  • Garlic – 1 clove

Directions

  1. Prepare food for salad with sprats, croutons, cheese, cucumbers and corn.
  2. Oil from sprat must be poured into crackers in advance so that they have time to soak and are not too hard.
  3. Grind the sprats into the minced meat with a fork.
  4. Add corn to the sprats.
  5. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and add to the salad with corn and sprats.
  6. Wash the cucumber and cut into small cubes, not larger than corn kernels, add to the salad with cheese.
  7. Add finely chopped garlic and croutons soaked in oil to the salad with sprats. Mix everything with mayonnaise. Sprat salad with crackers is ready. Before serving, you can let the fish salad steep a little in the refrigerator.
