Ingredients

  • 200 ml water
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g flour
  • 5 egg (s)
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. First, bring the water to the boil with the butter in a saucepan. Then turn off the stove and stir in the flour until a lump of dough forms. Let cool down until it is just lukewarm.
  2. Then stir in the eggs one after the other, don`t be surprised that the eggs are so difficult to stir in, just keep stirring. The result should be a relatively sticky dough.
  3. Now heat the fat in the pot or deep fryer and use a piping bag to squirt the dough onto a sieve and let it slide into the fat. Depending on the size of the piping bag, squirt two circles on top of each other (this is how it was with our bag). Fry the rings until golden brown and let them cool, then brush with icing.
