Ingredients

  • 400 g potato (s)
  • 400 g carrot (s)
  • 2 kohlrabi, (approx. 400 g)
  • 2 leeks, (approx. 400 g)
  • 20 g butter
  • 500 g smoked pork, in one piece (boneless)
  • 1 liter beef broth, (instant)
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 lemon (zest and juice)
  • salt and pepper
  • thyme

Instructions

  1. Peel, wash and dice the potatoes, carrots and kohlrabi. Clean and wash the leek and cut into rings.
  2. Heat the butter and sauté the leek for 2 minutes. Add the remaining vegetables, season, place smoked pork on the vegetables and pour on the meat stock.
  3. Cover and simmer for approx. 40 minutes.
  4. Remove the meat, dice it and add it again. Mix the chopped parsley and grated lemon zest, add to the stew. Season to taste with lemon juice.
