  • 4 stewed cucumber (s)
  • 4 large onion (s)
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 100 g bacon, mixed
  • some oil
  • salt and pepper
  • sugar
  • vinegar
  • possibly Maggi

Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter the stewed cucumbers and slice them into fine slices. Peel the onions and cut into strips. Dice the bacon.
  2. Fry the bacon in a little oil, add the minced meat and fry as well. Add the onions and sauté gently, then add the cucumbers. Add the spices and simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. The cucumbers give off plenty of water, no extra liquid has to be added.
  3. Finally, if necessary, season again with the spices. Boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes go well with it.
