Stewed Fruit with Spices Ingredients

  • A mixture of dried fruits (apples, cherries, rose hips, etc.) – 1 glass
  • Ginger (root) – 2 cm
  • Star anise (stars) – 1-2 pcs.
  • Cloves – 2-3 pcs.
  • Allspice – 2-3 pcs.
  • Honey – 2-3 tbsp

  1. Rinse dried fruits and cover with water (1-1.5 l). Bring to a boil, cook for 30-40 minutes. Then let the dried fruit bead brew for 2-3 hours.

  2. Peel and chop the ginger root.
  3. Pour 100 ml of water over the ginger, star anise, cloves and allspice. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Then strain.

  4. Dissolve honey in fragrant water.
  5. Strain the stewed fruit, pour in a sweet aromatic infusion. Stir and cool.
