Ingredients

  • 4 egg (s)
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 point baking powder
  • 125 ml water
  • 125 ml oil
  • 4 tablespoon chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon rum
  • some aroma, (liquid vanilla aroma)

Instructions

  1. Mix the yolks with the sifted sugar, vanilla sugar, rum, vanilla flavor and water until frothy. Stir in the oil slowly. Mix flour with baking powder, sieve and fold in. Beat egg whites into snow and fold in.
  2. Divide the dough and mix half of it with chocolate.
  3. Fill into a greased, floured Gugelhupf pan and bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 50–60 minutes.
  4. Let the Gugelhupf cool, turn it out and sprinkle with icing sugar.
