Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 5 sheets gelatine, white
  • 400 ml sparkling wine
  • 250 g crème fraîche
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Clean the strawberries, quarter the large fruits, mix with 2 tablespoons of sugar and the vanilla sugar in a bowl.
  2. Soak the gelatine in cold water, squeeze it out well, dissolve it in the saucepan over a low heat and mix it with the sparkling wine.
  3. Spread the strawberries in dessert glasses and fill up with the sparkling wine. Leave to gel in the refrigerator for approx. 2 hours.
  4. Mix the creme fraiche with the remaining sugar and lemon juice and spread over the berries before serving.
