Ingredients

  • 300 g strawberries, ripe but firm
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 bottle sparkling wine, drier, very cold,
  • 6 strawberries as decoration for the glasses

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries with the stem (so that they do not soak up with water and do not lose their taste). Then remove the stalks, chop the strawberries and mix with the sugar and lemon juice. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  2. Then puree the mixture and refrigerate in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  3. Put the strawberry puree in a carafe to serve. Gradually pour in the sparkling wine. Stir gently so that the bubbles don`t dissolve. Finally serve in champagne flutes and decorate the edge of the glass with a cut strawberry.
