Strawberry jelly is a fragrant and delicate dessert that will delight not only kids but also adults. Prepare it for a children’s party, birthday, or romantic evening!
Cook: 9 hour
Ingredients
Strawberries (or strawberries) – 100 g
Sugar – 100 g
Gelatin – 20 g
Water – 300 ml
Lemon juice to taste
How to make strawberry jelly:
Directions
First, soak the gelatin in a little water. It should swell.
Mash the berries in mashed potatoes until the juice is released.
Rub the puree through a sieve.
You will get a fragrant puree. Let’s put it aside for now.
Pour the remaining cake from the berries with water. Put on fire and bring to a boil. It is not necessary to boil for a long time, 1-2 minutes is enough.
Strain the broth through a sieve to get rid of fibers and leaves. Let it cool down a bit.
Add sugar and swollen gelatin to the resulting compote.
Put it on the stove and warm it up a little until sugar and gelatin are completely dissolved. (Do not boil! Gelatin loses its gelling properties when boiled.)
Pour fresh strawberry puree into the compote. We taste and, if necessary, add lemon juice.
Pour into molds and refrigerate for solidification.
When serving, put the vase in hot water for a few seconds and tip the strawberry jelly onto a plate. Or you can eat straight from the vase.
