Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries, washed, chopped, mashed
  • 250 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 vanilla pod, scraped out
  • 1 packet preserving sugar, :
  • 1 packet citric acid

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the strawberries and mash them with the magic wand.
  2. Measure the amount and pour the orange juice to 3/4 l (750 ml).
  3. Scrape out the vanilla pod and add the pulp to the fruit. Likewise the pod.
  4. Mix everything well and bring to the boil while stirring.
  5. When it starts to boil, cook according to the instructions on the packet.
  6. After the cooking time, remove the pod and place the filling in well-cleaned glasses with twist-off lids.
  7. The lids should be boiled out beforehand.
  8. After filling, close it well and let it rest upside down for 5 minutes. In this way, the lid is also disinfected by the hot food being cooked. After the 5 minutes you can turn the glasses over again until they cool down.
