Ingredients

  • 40 g white bread, stale
  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • 100 g onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Paprika powder
  • Cheese (Allgäuer)
  • 1 bell pepper (s)
  • 6 tablespoon oil
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak the bread. Cut 8 large rings out of the cheese. Also cut the pepper into 8 rings. Chop the onions and garlic into small pieces.
  2. Mix the minced meat, onions, garlic, parsley and the eggs. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Squeeze out the bread vigorously and add to the mixture. Knead a meat dough. Shape 8 balls. About 15 cm in average.
  3. Press the balls completely flat and cover each with a ring of paprika and a ring of cheese. Fold the rest of the meat over it and seal tightly. Do the same with the remaining 7 balls. Then fry in the pan for 8-10 minutes on each side.
