Ingredients

  • 400 g mushrooms, lare
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 200 g cream cheese, also possible with low fat
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • 3 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 1 handful cheese, grated (e.g. Emmentaler)

Instructions

  1. Clean the mushrooms, unscrew the stems and carefully hollow out the mushrooms. Finely chop the stalks, the hollowed out mushroom flesh, the onion and the garlic. Melt the butter in a pan and steam the minced meat in it until the liquid has evaporated again. Then chill.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, egg yolk, parsley and breadcrumbs in a bowl, season with plenty of salt and pepper. Add the onion and mushroom mixture, mix well and season to taste. The mass should be rather thick, if necessary add some breadcrumbs.
  3. Pour the mixture into the mushrooms and place on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at about 160 ° C (fan oven) for about 15 minutes.
  4. We like to eat the filled mushrooms as an accompaniment to hearty dishes such as beef roulades and bread dumplings or as a light main course with salad, cheese and bread.
