Ingredients

  • 2 papaya
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch spring onion (s)
  • 1 packet cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 yellow pepper (s)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley
  • 1 can scampi, or shrimp if you like
  • 0.5 ½ lime (s), the juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • some salt and pepper
  • some paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 100 g cheese, rated ratin cheese for ratin

Instructions

  1. Halve the papayas, remove the seeds and remove the pulp with a spoon until only a 1 cm wide edge remains.
  2. Cut the released pulp into small cubes. Dice the garlic and onion as small as possible. Cut the spring onion diagonally into small rings, quarter the tomatoes, dice the paprika and finely chop the parsley.
  3. Drain the scampi, pat dry and drizzle with lime juice, heat the oil in a pan (I prefer lemon oil) and fry the scampi briefly, add the onion and garlic and stir again and again until both are nice and translucent. Add tomato quarters, paprika and papaya and sauté everything for about 2 minutes, add the chopped parsley and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Spread the filling between the papaya halves and sprinkle with the cheese.
  4. Baked at 200 ° in the oven until the cheese turns nice and brown.
