- 200 g minced meat
- 1 small onion (s), small
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ cayenne pepper
- 4 teaspoons breadcrumbs
- some water
- 2 slices cheese, Gouda
- salt

- Put the minced meat in a bowl and season with cayenne pepper and salt. Add the onion cut into small cubes and the breadcrumbs and mix everything well. Then wash the peppers and cut in half lengthways, remove the core and seeds and fill with the prepared minced meat. Put some water in a baking dish so that the bottom is covered and put the peppers inside. Now cover each with 1 slice of cheese and bake at 180 ° C (fan oven) for about 30 minutes.
- This goes very well with rice and a tomato sauce.
- Alternative: The peppers can also be baked covered in a pan. This has the advantage that collected liquid can be processed into a sauce.
