Ingredients

  • 600 g plums (plums)
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 4 egg (s), separated
  • 300 grams flour
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 125 ml milk

  • 4 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. Only use plums for this recipe, no other plums, are more aromatic.
  2. Wash, halve and stone the plums. Sprinkle with the 4 tablespoons of sugar and set aside. In the meantime, stir the butter, stir in the sugar spoon by spoon, add the egg yolks and salt. Mix the flour, cornstarch and baking powder together. Add to the butter together with the milk and stir in. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter. Spread half of the dough on a greased baking tray sprinkled with breadcrumbs and prebake at 180 ° C on the middle rack for 10 minutes.
  3. Cover with the plums and spread the rest of the batter over them. Bake for another 50 minutes at 180 ° C.
  4. Mix the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Sprinkle the warm cake with it.
