  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 150 g spelled flour type 630
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 4 apples
  • 1 dash lemon juice
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • Icing sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Melt the fat in a small saucepan or use softened butter.
  2. Spread fat on a springform pan and dust thinly with spelled flour.
  3. Separate eggs. Mix the egg yolks and sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer until frothy.
  4. Slowly stir in liquid fat or softened butter. Add lemon juice and beat everything again until frothy.
  5. Mix the spelled flour, salt and baking powder. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  6. Fold the flour and egg whites alternately into the egg yolk mixture. Pour the batter into the springform pan and smooth it out.
  7. Peel and quarter the apples and remove the core. Cut the apple quarters with a sharp knife on the upper side, but do not cut through so that they still hold together below. Then place the apples in a circle on the dough.
  8. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for about 40 minutes until golden. After cooling, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
