  • 300 grams flour
  • 0.5 ½ cube yeast or 1/2 packet dry yeast
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 150 ml water, warm
  • 1 pinch (s) salt

Instructions

  1. Make a soft dough from the ingredients, preferably in a 2 l bowl with a lid (microwave oven). Possibly add a little flour or water. Then cover the knöpfle with a tea towel and let it rise in a warm place (e.g. next to the heater) for about 30 minutes until it has risen a little.
  2. Then close the lid and put it in the microwave at 600 watts for 4 minutes (this is how it works with my microphone)!
  3. Sometimes the lid pops down, but it doesn`t matter! And if it`s in for too long, there is a bit of a hard edge, but you can cut it off well and enjoy the rest of the tasty button.
  4. Especially tastes good with a lot of gravy!
  5. Also works with a little less flour, the last time I had just under 220 g of flour at home, the Knöpfle was still really tasty!
