Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 2 packs pudding powder, vanilla
  • 250 ml water
  • 30 g butter
  • 0.5 ½ lime (s), the juice
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 3 tablespoon water, warm
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoon chocolate flakes

Instructions

  1. Quarter the apples, peel them, remove the core and grate them roughly on a kitchen grater.
  2. Put grated apples, sugar, vanilla pudding and water in a saucepan and simmer for a few minutes. Take it off the stove.
  3. Add butter and lime juice and stir in. To let it cool down.
  4. For the bottom, first separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with warm water until frothy. Gradually add 80 g sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir until a creamy mass has formed (approx. 5 minutes).
  5. Beat the egg whites until stiff and pour in the remaining sugar. Put the egg whites on the cream. Mix the flour and baking powder and sieve on the egg whites. Carefully fold everything under the egg yolk cream. Don`t stir!
  6. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Spread the dough on it.
  7. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C fan oven. Bake on the middle rack for about 8 minutes. The floor should only be light brown.
  8. Spread out a tea towel. Place the baked base on the cloth to cool.
  9. When the base and sheet have cooled down, the base is placed back on the sheet.
  10. Spread the apple mixture on top. Now the cake has to be in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  11. Just before serving, whip the cream until stiff and spread it on the cake.
  12. Finally sprinkle the grated chocolate over it.
