Ingredients

  • 300 g pork schnitzel
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 1 red pepper (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 chilli pepper (s), red
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 3 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ sauce thickener, darker
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, smooth, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the meat into 2 cm wide strips. Mix the soy sauce and white wine vinegar, drizzle half of it over the meat and let it steep for 15 minutes.
  2. Clean the pepper and cut into fine strips. Cut the onion into fine strips. Score, core and finely chop the chilli pepper. Drain the pineapple, collect 5 tablespoons of juice. Quarter the pineapple slices.
  3. Pat the meat dry, fry all over in hot oil in a pan, remove. Sweat the onion, chilli, pineapple and paprika. Deglaze with the remaining marinade, vegetable stock, ketchup, honey and pineapple juice, simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
  4. If necessary tie with a dark sauce thickener. Add the meat again, heat it up briefly, add seasoning if necessary. Sprinkle with flat-leaf parsley. Rice goes well with it.
