Ingredients

  • 10 apples, untreated, only the peel them!
  • 2 lemon (s), juice and zest
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pinch (s) basil, dried
  • some butter
  • 40 g almond (s)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • possibly lump sugar, for sprinkling
  • possibly cinnamon powder, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. The apple peel is placed in a bowl with the lemon juice and the peel. Salt, basil and butter are added. Then the almonds are lightly roasted in a coated pan. Then these are also added. Now the mixture is mashed well and stirred once in between, otherwise the bottom apple peel will not be mashed at the same time. Now cinnamon and honey are added and mashed again until a good porridge is obtained. Put in a bowl and sprinkle with a little cinnamon and granulated sugar if necessary.

  3. You can just spoon the puree cold, spread it on bread, enjoy it as a side dish for a dessert or heat it in the microwave and consume warm. It also tastes good when you stir 1-2 spoons into the hot milk and then drink it.
