  • 1 pack dry yeast
  • 6 teaspoons honey
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. For approx. 20 rolls.
  2. Pour the warm water into a glass and dissolve the yeast and honey in it. Sift the flour into a bowl, add the salt and the honey-yeast mixture and knead into a dough. The dough is ready when nothing sticks to your hands, possibly add a little more flour.
  3. Now shape small rolls about the size of table tennis balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. If desired, spread sunflower seeds, oat flakes or flax seeds on the rolls and press down.
  4. Cover the tray with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Then bake the rolls at 200 ° C for about 15-20 minutes until they are lightly browned.
  6. The sweet rolls taste best when they are consumed warm. Because it is quick and easy to prepare, the recipe is also suitable for children.
