Sweet Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

  • Coconut flakes – 180 g
  • Almond flour (or chopped almonds) – 100 g
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Chicken egg – 2 pieces
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Chocolate chips (or chocolate drops) – 25 g

Directions

  1. Beat egg whites at room temperature with a mixer.
  2. Add salt and sugar. Whisk until soft peaks.
  3. Add yolks, mix.
  4. Add coconut flakes, stir with a spatula.
  5. Add chopped almonds (or almond flour). Mix.
  6. Moisten a teaspoon in water and use it to spread the resulting mass on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  7. If desired, add chocolate drops to the rest of the dough, mix, and form balls with hands soaked in water.
  8. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C, 12-18 minutes. (until light ruddy).
