Ingredients

  • 2 cup semolina
  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • 100 g suar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 125 g mararine, melted
  • 60 ml milk
  • 3 drops butter-vanilla or bitter almond flavor
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (juice)

Instructions

  1. Mix semolina, flour, sugar, baking powder, desiccated coconut, vanilla flavor, everything in a bowl. Then add the melted margarine and milk. You can also mix them nicely by hand. Don`t be confused, the dough is pretty crumbly. Grease a baking dish and put the dough in it and press it firmly with the flat of your hand. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20-30 minutes. You have to look until it is golden yellow at the top.
  2. Now to the homemade honey:
  3. Put the sugar, water, cinnamon and lemon juice in a saucepan and simmer very gently over a very low heat for about 30 minutes. Don`t worry here either, the honey won`t become thick.
  4. Now you can take the baking dish out of the oven and pour the honey over it.
  5. I tell you, it tastes great and everyone will be delighted.
