Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes and cook them together with the noodles. Possibly add the pasta to the cooking water a few minutes later. In the meantime, cut the onions into strips and fry them with the bacon cubes. Drain the potatoes and pasta and mix with the onions and diced bacon. Put this mixture in layers with the cheese in a gratin dish, season the cream with a little pepper and nutmeg and pour over it. Bake in the oven at 150 ° C for about 10 minutes until the cheese has melted. Mix again briefly at the table. In Switzerland, applesauce is served with it. Not everyone likes it, salad also works.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
