Ingredients

  • 125 g tapioca pearls
  • 1 liter water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 ml coconut milk, sweetened
  • 200 ml soy milk (soy drink), sweetened

Instructions

  1. Let the tapioca rest for ten minutes in a bowl with half a liter of water. Add the remaining water and salt and heat. Cook on a low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, if the mixture is too thick, add more water. The tapioca pearls are now mostly transparent. Let the mass cool for about 20 minutes so that the last pearls become soft and transparent.
  2. To make the milky-sweet soup with tapioca globules, you have to add the cooked tapioca globules to sweetened coconut milk or sweetened soy milk.
