Tartlets with Gherkins and Cheese

Juicy and delicious tartlets with cheese and pickled cucumbers (gherkins) will be an ideal snack for the New Year’s table. Preparing a festive snack is very simple and in just a few minutes.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Tartlets – 8-10 pcs.
  • Hard cheese – 200 g
  • Gherkins (pickled cucumbers, small) – 8-10 pcs.
  • Garlic – 1-2 cloves
  • Fresh dill – 0.5 bunch
  • Green onion – 2 feathers
  • Mayonnaise – 2.5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Grate hard cheese on a grater with fine holes.
  2. Rinse and chop the dill and add to the cheese.
  3. Add mayonnaise, salt to taste. Peel the garlic and press into a bowl of cheese.
  4. Put the prepared cheese filling in the tartlets. Remember to do this just before serving to prevent the tartlets from getting wet. You can use both waffle and sand tartlets.
  5. Garnish each cheese basket with a gherkin and chopped green onions. Place the cheese and gherkin tartlets on a platter. Serve immediately after cooking.
