Ingredients

  • 1 kg ribs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lard
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 500 ml meat broth
  • 300 g veetables (root), mixed, rouhly chopped
  • 1 onion (s), cut into thin wedges
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds, whole or ground
  • 1 bay leaf, fresh if possible
  • 2 slices bread (rye bread), crumbled

Instructions

  1. Season the ribs with pepper and salt, fry them well in the lard and then brush with honey.
  2. Add the vegetables, caraway seeds, bay leaf and the bread and pour the stock over them.
  3. When the meat comes off the bones after about an hour of simmering, it`s done
