Ingredients

  • 2 cucumber (s)
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 1 bunch coriander greens
  • 1 large chilli pepper (s), red
  • 1 small onion (s), red
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 60 ml lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Partially peel the cucumber so that strips of peel remain. Depending on the size, halve or third lengthways and cut into fine strips with a slicer. Pluck the herbs from the stems. Halve the chilli lengthways and remove the seeds, then cut into fine strips. Cut the onion into very fine cubes. Add everything to the cucumber strips.
  2. Make a marinade out of the remaining four ingredients and marinate the salad with them just before serving.
  3. The salad tastes good with LT cooked or fried fish fillet or with chicken.
