Instructions

  1. This is an ancient recipe from our family. Nothing goes faster than that. And children, but also adults, have ALWAYS been enthusiastic up to now: The following recipe is intended for one person as a main meal.
  2. Beat the eggs with a whisk, stir in the salt and milk. Then add enough flour until the dough is VERY viscous. In the end, you can only work it with a fork, but that`s how it should be. Unfortunately, I don`t have any exact details about the flour, but I`ll say that the consistency should be something like a firmer cake batter.
  3. Prepare boiling water (with vegetable stock, if desired, otherwise salt) and use a small spoon to remove dumplings from the dough and let them fall into the water. The hot water causes the dough to come off the spoon very quickly. You do this with the whole dough, as soon as the noodles float on top, they are ready.
  4. Pour off the water and enjoy. Either pure, with butter, with ketchup, with sour cream, pickled, dried plums, with onions and then baked with cheese, etc. There are no limits to your imagination.
