  • Toast bread – 8-10 slices
  • Milk – 1 glass
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Flour – 1.25 cups
  • Baking powder – 1.5 teaspoon.
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Sunflower oil for the lubricating waffle iron
  • Butter for serving

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl, add cinnamon and sugar.
  2. Add milk, egg and melted butter to this dry mixture, mix until smooth. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Grease the waffle iron with sunflower oil and turn it on for heating.
  4. Take one slice of bread, dip in the dough, and place in a waffle iron, cook until golden brown on both sides. Fry all the toasts in this way.
  5. Serve the toast waffles hot with butter.
