Toast with Canned Beans and Fish

These sandwiches with canned beans and sardine pate are made in just a matter of minutes.

Cook: 10 minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Baton – 6 slices
  • Canned white beans – 150 g
  • Canned sardines – 150 g
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Fresh parsley – 4 sprigs

Directions

  1. Place the beans and sardines in a blender bowl.
  2. Peel and grate the garlic. Add to a bowl of beans and fish.
  3. Punch everything with a blender until smooth.
  4. Add vegetable oil and lemon juice. Stir until smooth.
  5. Rinse and dry the parsley, cut. Place the bean and fish pate in a salad bowl, sprinkle with half the parsley.
  6. Dry the loaf slices in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Spread the bean and fish pate on a dried loaf and serve with hot sweet tea. And if you put such a pate in tartlets, decorate with herbs and lemon, you get a wonderful appetizer for a festive table.
